Quick Bio: Kristin Saling is the Deputy Director of People Analytics for the United States Army. She is an active-duty Army officer, university taught operations research analyst, self-taught data scientist, and between writing a ton of policy documents, tries to build her coding Kung Fu. This site is a place for her to collect her various thoughts on science and technology in Defense, particularly in human resources (where she has worked for 6 years), the future of work, performance management, performance optimization, and other topics.
